# Secure your VM with Firewall

Enhance your VM's security effortlessly with our Firewall configuration! Choose the desired Virtual Machine instance on the Project page, head to the Networking tab, and click 'Create rule.' Simply fill in the rule details, and your newly configured rule will take effect, bolstering the security of your Virtual Machine.

1. Select the Virtual Machine instance that you want to configure on the <mark style="color:orange;">**`Project`**</mark> page.

2. Navigate to the <mark style="color:orange;">**`Networking`**</mark> tab, click <mark style="color:orange;">**`Create rule`**</mark>.

3. Fill in the rule details.
