# Delete account

This tutorial describes how to delete an account.

**When you deactivate your account, we'll delete the payment methods but keep your account history, including resource limits. You can reactivate by signing in with the same credentials and adding a new payment method.**

**If you check the** `Purge my account data` **option, we'll delete all your account information and you will need to create a new account to use Enclaive again in the future.**

Any team that has you as the last Owner will be deleted as well. 

1. Click on your avatar at the top-right corner, and select `My Account` in the pop-up menu.

2. Scroll to the end, click on the `Deactivate` button to deactivate your account,

3. Confirm the account deletion by clicking on `DELETE MY ACCOUNT`.
