# Download

### Release page

Prebuilt CVMF firmware is published with Sylica GitHub releases:

<https://github.com/enclaive/sylica/releases/>

Each platform is distributed as a release artifact containing the firmware and associated verification information.

The important firmware file for the production Sylica platforms is:

```
CVMF.fd
```

Choose the artifact corresponding to the required platform:

```
sylica-x86  → conventional x86 VM
sylica-sev  → AMD SEV-SNP
sylica-tdx  → Intel TDX
```

### Download manually

Open:

[Sylica Releases](https://github.com/enclaive/sylica/releases/)

Select the required release and download the artifact for your platform.

Extract it into a local directory, for example:

```bash
mkdir -p ~/cvmf
```

After extraction, copy or reference the corresponding `CVMF.fd`:

```
~/cvmf/sylica-x86/CVMF.fd
~/cvmf/sylica-sev/CVMF.fd
~/cvmf/sylica-tdx/CVMF.fd
```

The exact directory structure depends on how the release artifact was extracted.

### Download using GitHub CLI

If the GitHub CLI is installed:

```bash
gh release download \
    --repo enclaive/sylica \
    --dir sylica-release
```

This downloads the assets from the latest release.

List the downloaded files:

```bash
find sylica-release -type f
```

If a specific release is required:

```bash
gh release download <release-tag> \
    --repo enclaive/sylica \
    --dir sylica-release
```

Always use the platform-specific `CVMF.fd` corresponding to the VM technology.
